Scriber Lake High Student Featured in Newly-Released Book

Unselfish Scriber Lake High Student, Santino Dewyer, has a story published in a new book titled Unselfish: Love Thy Neighbor as Thy Selfie compiled by Paul Parkinson. The book contains 99 stories of people putting others before themselves and celebrates just a few of the unsung stories of regular people and celebrities alike going against the grain and helping their fellow man, according to the summary on Santino’s artwork is also featured in the book.

This book is partly published as a counter to Kim Kardashian’s new book, titled Selfish, launched the same day, which documents her life through self-portraits. 

Santino Dewyer Santino will also be published a second time.  He is also one of the student authors in the upcoming book We Hope You Rise Up which is part of the Write to Right program co-founded by English Teacher Marjie Bowker and Memoir Author Ingrid Ricks at Scriber Lake High.  His story is called “Broken Promises.” You may look for his story and others at the book launch event on June 2 at Café Louvre.
