Mountlake Terrace High School
All grade 4-12 Students in the Edmonds School District are invited to participate.

Welcome Students!

The STEM Expo is a celebration of YOU, and of your learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. It is the place to share what you care deeply about and to show the community how STEM can be used to impact our future.

There are three different ways for students to participate in the 2019 STEM Expo:

1.  The Lynnwood Mayor’s Challenge - This is an exciting new opportunity to use STEM to team up with the City of Lynnwood to explore and propose solutions to authentic issues in the community!  Students in Grades 4-12 are invited to help tackle these problems as individuals, teams, or even as an entire class.

  • Lynnwood Parks Invasive Plant Inventory and Control
  • Lynnwood Sidewalk Slope Analysis
  • Civic Campus Parking and Safety
  • VHF Radio Mapping
  • Freeway Commuter Alert System for Transit Center Parking
  • Outreach Program for Lynnwood Storm and Sewer Utilities
  • Find more details here.

2.  Interactive STEM Stations - Each Elementary School Classroom, Secondary School Course, and STEM-related Club is invited to host an Interactive STEM Station to showcase STEM skills or problem-solving strategies. Find more details here.

3.  Competitors’ Showcase - Students who are participating in a judged STEM competition outside of the Edmonds School District during this school year are invited to share their projects and any recognition they’ve received. Find more details here.
