STEM Expo 2020

Students at the STEM Expo event

STEM

Monday, April 27, 2020, 6-8pm

Mountlake Terrace High School
All grade 4-12 Students in the Edmonds School District are invited to participate.

Welcome Students!

The STEM Expo is a celebration of YOU, and of your learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. It is the place to share what you care deeply about and to show the community how STEM can be used to impact our future.

There are three different ways for students to participate in the 2020 STEM Expo:

1.     Interactive STEM Stations - Teachers can register students to host an interactive station that showcases a STEM topic that they’d like to share with the community. The station will be staffed by four students at a time who will guide visitors through a STEM technique or problem-solving experience that they’ve explored at school. Elementary Teachers can register for one station per class, Secondary Teachers can register for one station per course, Club Leaders can register for one station per club.

2.     Competitors’ Showcase - Students who are participating in a judged STEM event outside of the Edmonds School District during this school year can register to share their projects and any recognition they’ve received.

3.     The Lynnwood Mayor’s Challenge - This is an exciting opportunity to use STEM to team up with the City of Lynnwood to explore and propose solutions to authentic issues in the community!  We are currently working with the City of Lynnwood to identify the challenges that will be available for this year and the details around participating.  More information about opportunities with the Mayor’s Challenge will be shared at a later date when it becomes available.
