Central to Seattle Children's Theatre's mission is a commitment to serving diverse communities including the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing. American Sign Language-interpreted performances are available throughout the season at the following dates and times. Tickets can be purchased through the box office by calling (206) 441-3322. Interactive Sign Language Class for Spanish-Speaking Parents of Deaf/Hard of Hearing Children & Teen

WHO: Spanish-speaking parents of children and teens who are deaf and hard of hearing (DHH).

WHAT: The focus of this class is learning interactive signing skills and communication strategies to support and strengthen family relationships between Spanish-speaking parents and their children who are DHH. Class is led by a deaf professional. Child care and basic tutorial service for DHH children’s homework is offered.

WHEN: Every Wednesday from October 5 to November 16, 2016 from 5-7pm.

WHERE: Seattle Children’s Hospital, 4800 Sandpoint Way NE, Seattle, WA Ocean Building, 5th floor, Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic, Sea Star Lobby.

Cost: FREE! Funded by a grant from the Childhood Communication Center, this class is provided at no cost to families.
Light refreshments and childcare are provided.

Gallaudet University's 2017 Summer Youth Camps

Gallaudet University's Youth Programs is busy preparing for the exciting 2017 Summer Youth Camps. We are thrilled to announce that we will have two sessions with three camps per session next summer. Registration will open on October 1, 2016.

We will be sharing announcements and updates about our Summer Youth Camps throughout the year. We would like to connect with Career Counselors, Transition Staff, Vocational Rehabilitation/Department of Rehabilitation Counselors, School Administrators, agencies, and anyone who is interested in learning about Summer Youth Camps at Gallaudet University. For this purpose, we have created a Summer Youth Camps distribution list.
