Secondary Summer School

Credit Recovery or First Time Credit
Grades 9-12

This will be a tuition-based online program for grades 9-12. Students will be enrolled in Graduation Alliance for their registered course. Students will have 3 weeks to complete their course assignments and 1 week to complete the final exam. Students will work remotely and can complete coursework ahead of schedule and finish early. A drop-in lab will be available for in-person support. There will be no extensions, students must finish their assignments and finals by their due date.

Credit Recovery  

Students will have the opportunity to recover credits previously lost due to failing grades such as F, NC, or I currently on their transcript. Students will earn a “P” (passing) on their transcript upon successful completion of the course. There are no AP or CTE courses available. 

First-Time/New Credit

Students wanting to work ahead to meet their graduation requirements may sign up for courses offered as First Time Credit/New Credit. Limited courses available- Personal Finance, PE, or Health. Students will receive the letter grade earned on their transcript upon successful completion of the course.

Limited bus service will be available for students within the district. Unfortunately, transportation cannot be provided for students outside the district. 

• Pick-up and drop-off locations: Buses will stop at designated host schools within your student's feeder pattern quadrant. This may not be the closest location to your home.
• Registration required: To ensure a smooth commute, students planning to use the bus service must register beforehand.

Tuition

Credit Recovery Fee - $100.00
First Time Credit Fee - $300.00

Multiple credit recovery courses, will have one $100 fee, multiple first time credit courses will have one $300 fee. A combination of credit recovery and first time courses will have one $300 fee. Payment is due at the time of registration. InTouch is the program the district uses for online payments.

Tuition Assistance

For credit recovery courses, district students who qualify for free/reduced meals during the 2023-24 school year will have their fee reduced to a total of $25. Complete the online application to apply for free/reduced meals. If you have already done this for the 2023-24 school year you DO NOT have to complete this form again.
