We have many exciting opportunities for our students to continue their learning over the summer in Edmonds! See the chart below for all of the offerings in 2017 and click the program title to visit each program’s website for more information.

Uses libraries, kindergarten classrooms, alcoves, playgrounds, kitchen areas for tours

ELL Jump Start

Serves approx. 75 (25 per school)
Transitional program for incoming ELL Kindergarteners, in addition to the Kindergarten Jump Start offerings TBD August 14-18
Secondary Summer School

Traditional Setting & 

Serves approx. 350-400
Credit retrieval, skill remediation and new learning for students in grades 9-12.  Edmonds-Woodway High School

July 5 - July 28

Two sessions of 3 hours each a day

7:30-10:30am & 11:00am-2:00pm

ELL runs 7:30-11:15 am

Summer Music

Serves approx. 200 campers + 25 High School mentors and 20 teachers 
Enrichment opportunity for district musicians in grades 6-12

Mountlake Terrace High School

June 29-July 19

STEM Middle School Summer Camp

Serves approx. 120
Enrichment opportunity for incoming 7th and 8th grade students  Mountlake Terrace High School

Two sessions:

9:00 am - 12:30pm 

Summer Reading Enrichment opportunities for students K-12 including Raz-Kids, MyOn, Moby Max, Typing Club,, ebooks on the District's library catalog, Sno-Isle Reading program Online
Summer Online Learning Resources for Secondary Students Online educational resources for students and families  Online

Other offerings:
