The Edmonds School District’s Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) is a state-funded high quality preschool program that serves 180 qualifying 3 and 4-year old children and their families. The program is FREE for eligible families!
Morning and afternoon half-day classes are offered at Alderwood Early Childhood Center (AECC) in Lynnwood, Lynndale Elementary, and Chase Lake Elementary. Placement is based on the family's residency address. The comprehensive program focuses on the well-being of the whole child, including:
Individualized Learning Activities
Social emotions, physical, language, cognitive, literacy, and math
Health & Nutrition
Meals, health screens, and nutrition activities
Parent & Family Support
Community resources, connections and goal setting
Family Engagement
Parent and Family nights with materials
