Meet our Pre-K Facilitators

Pam Gerke

Pam Gerke has been teaching children for over thirty years as an arts educator, specializing in drama and music, and has published several books in this field. She received her B.A. English from the University of California and her teaching certificate from Pacific Oaks College. She is also a choral conductor, composer and playwright, and has produced a film of her musical about Florence Nightingale - see the website for HEARTS: Health & Arts for the YouTube link: http://heartshealtharts.org
 

 

Tawny

Tawny Richard has been working with preschool students since she was a student at the University of Washington studying Early Childhood and Family Studies. After receiving her Master's in Teaching, she taught kindergarten and first grade in Highline School district. She left the classroom for a few years to spend time with her young children. She is very excited to be joining the Family Pre-K program, which brings together her passion for teaching preschool students and supporting kindergarten readiness. In her free time, she enjoys adventures with her family, photography and crafting.
