Edmonds Arts Festival
Each year the Edmonds Arts Festival partners with the Edmonds School District to showcase over 1100 pieces of student art in their Student Art Exhibit. The goal of this popular exhibit is to provide a venue which celebrates the talents and creative expressions of our young artists. Kindergarten through 12th grade students living or attending public or private school within the Edmonds School District boundaries are eligible to apply.

Student Art Participation
Students K-6 may enter one piece, grades 7-12 may enter 2 pieces. Artwork is accepted through the following processes:
SCHOOL SELECT - Determined by student population, each participating school is given an allotment of pieces they may display. It is the school’s choice as to how they decide what pieces to submit. Students should check with their teachers or office managers for information regarding their School Select entry process. Entries are selected in spring with a school submittal deadline of April 25.
OPEN CLASS – K-12 - student artists that do not have the School Select option, or were not selected through the School Select program are invited to submit art for consideration through Open Class selection. Open class selection is juried by two local professional community artists. Registrations are accepted online April 26-May 5, 5pm. (Do not use if already selected through School Select for the maximum amount or artwork allowed.) For Open Class criteria and instructions, click on the following link: OPEN CLASS ENTRY
Questions regarding the online submission process or students having difficulties accessing the online form may contact Barb Childs at 425-431-7117 or childsba@edmonds.wednet.edu for assistance.
