Application For Student Advisor To The Board

The Edmonds School Board is currently accepting applications for Student Advisor to the Board of Directors
for the 2022/23 school year. Applicants must be in their junior or senior year while they serve (this year’s
sophomores may apply for the following school year). Each year the Board of Directors' goal is to select at least two
student advisors from each high school according to *Board Policy #1250

Responsibilities of the student advisor include serving as a liaison between the Board of Directors and
Student Body, attending School Board meetings as a non-voting member (two Tuesdays a month) and
providing input, and reporting on student activities occurring at their high school. Applicants must complete
the information listed below, obtain the required signatures, and answer the questions on the second page.
Please return to your school’s Principal or Assistant Principal so they can approve and forward to the
Superintendent’s office by June 17th for consideration.

Print the application and complete legibly in blue or black ink. Submit completed form to school principal for approval.
