Library Materials Selection Policies

The primary responsibility for the selection and deselection of library materials belongs to teacher-librarians, who are supervised by their principals.

The school library collection should represent a broad range of lived experiences, perspectives, and identities, including the current and historical experiences of diverse groups and considering diversity of race, ethnicity, culture, class, religion, gender, sexual orientation, physical and mental ability, occupation, and life experiences.
