Lifeskills (Intensive Academic Support)
The Lifeskills Program serves students at the secondary level who have mild to moderate disabilities. These students have significant delays in cognition.
The program provides an alternative curriculum that focuses on functional academics, community independence and vocational skills. Instruction is provided through classroom activities, community field experiences, and work experiences.
Classes are center-based, but students have opportunities to participate in learning support and/or general education classes as determined appropriate by their IEP team.
