Certificated

Edmonds School District teachers are committed to engaging and supporting students by customizing their instruction and tailoring their teaching style to meet the needs of every student.

Edmonds School District holds every teacher to this standard of excellence to ensure that our students are provided the learning, tools, and resources to support their success within the PreK-12+ setting and help them thrive once they graduate.

Teachers should have a strong understanding of racial equity as well as the persisting inequalities that exist within schools and classrooms. Equally important is for our teachers to have a proven ability to apply these tenets in their daily classroom practices.
