Skyward Consent to Share

If your student(s) qualifies for Meal Benefits with the Edmonds School District, they can also have numerous school fees waived/reduced by completing the digital Consent to Share form in Skyward Family Access.  Filling out the digital Consent to Share form allows the Food Service Dept. to share your student's meal benefit status with other school departments, as selected by the parent or guardian, to auto-waive/reduce applicable fees and costs.  

Fee Waivers may include the following:

  • ASB - Fee reduction/waiver includes: ASB Cards, Athletics, Clubs, Dances, Performances, Field Trips & all other estracurricular non-credit activities.
  • Academic - Fee reduction/waiver & supplies includes: Summer School Fees, Classes, Curricular Programs, Instrument Rentals, Supplies, Testing (PSAT, SAT, ACT), Technology Fees, Field Trips/camps.
  • School Parking - Fee reduction/waiver
  • Graduation Tickets - Fee reduction/waiver

Directions to Access the Skyward Consent to Share form:

  • Log into Skyward Family Access: Link to Skyward Family Access Log-in page
  • Once logged in, you should see your students name and a set of square tiles, like this example:

  • Click on the square tile called Consent to Share.  The tile should only be visible if your student is qualified for meal benefits.  If the tile is not visible, you may still need to fill out an annual application for meal benefits for the current school year (see application link at the bottom of this page).
  • The Consent to Share form will pop up and you will need to enter the current date and then choose No or Yes in the Consent to Share drop down menu.

  • If you choose No, you will then review and submit. 
  •  

  • If you choose Yes, an additional set of options will appear for the Programs to Share choice.  You may choose all of them or any combination of the four options.
  •  

  • Once you make your choices, click Complete & Review at the top of the window.
  • The final window will show your choices and has a checkbox to confirm what you chose.  If everything is correct, click on Submit Form at the top of the window. If you need to make any changes, click Edit on the upper right side and you will be directed back to the previous page to make changes as needed.

Once submitted, the form is reviewed by the Food and Nutrition Dept. and then activated in our system.  If we have any questions, we will reach out to parent/guardian that completed the form.
