The Edmonds School District is able to offer no cost meals to all students at individual schools in our district, on a case by case basis. This is possible through the federal Community Eligibility Provision program and the Washington State House Bill 1238 program, both of which allow a school to offer one no cost breakfast and one no cost lunch to all students, each school day, if a large enough percentage of registered students at that school individually qualify for meal benefits. During the 2025-2026 school year, the following schools in the Edmonds School District are able to offer no cost meals to all students registered at each of these schools:
High Schools: Lynnwood High School, Scriber Lake High School
Middle Schools: Alderwood Middle School, College Place Middle School
Elementary Schools: Beverly Elementary School, Lynndale Elementary School, Meadowdale Elementary School, Spruce Elementary School, Hazelwood Elementary School, Martha Lake Elementary School, Oak Heights Elementary School, Chase Lake Elementary School, College Place Elementary School, Westgate Elementary School, Cedar Valley Elementary School, Cedar Way Elementary School, Lynnwood Elementary School, Mountlake Terrace Elementary School
Additional: Edmonds eLearning Academy, Alderwood Early Childhood Center
The Food and Nutrition Services department reasses our applications for no cost meal sites each school year to make sure we are meeting the required guidelines and we are able to qualify additional sites when possible.
This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
