Additional Benefits for Eligible Families
To set up an auto-waiver of applicable fees with the school district, please log into Skyward Family Access and fill out the Consent to Share form.
- Clothes for Kids: Application form for clothing is available at your student(s) school or at www.clothesforkids.org
- Right at School: Before and After school childcare at participating Edmonds School District Schools. Apply online at www.rightatschool.com
- Utility Rebate for City of Lynnwood: Offers special, reduced rates and annual rates to qualifying low-income households for the City's water, sewer, and storm utilities. Apply online at www.lynnwoodwa.gov or paper copies of the application are available at Lynnwood City Hall and the Lynnwood Recreation Center during regular business hours.
- City of Edmonds - Utility, Water, Sewer Assistance: Apply online at www.edmondswa.gov
- Recreation Benefit Fund (RBF) - RBF provides financial support for children 17 years and younger who wish to participate in recreation activities. Apply online at www.lynnwoodwa.gov
- College Application Fee Waiver: High School students can bring their approved Free/Reduced Eligibility Letter to their school counselor for a fee waiver.
- Athletic Fee Waiver: Middle and High School students can brin their approved Free/Reduced Eligibility Letter to their schools athletic office for a reduction of athletic fees. Families can also fill out a Consent to Share form through Skyward Family Access to have fees reduced/waived automatically.
- College Bound Scholarship: Students who receive Free/Reduced Meal Benefits in the 7th & 8th grade are automatically enrolled in the College Bound Scholarship. This scholarship provides tuition to approved colleges in Washington State. For more information visit wsac.wa.gov/college-bound
- Running Start: The Running Start program provides an opportunity for eligible high school juniors and seniors to attend college courses numbered at 100 level and above, tuition free, while completing high school. Students that qualify under the program are eligible for a maximum of 15 credits per quarter. Students can receive financial assistance in the Running Start program by receiving a Fee Waiver. - SUNBucks/Summer EBT Program: The Washington State SUNBucks program provides $120.00 per eligible student in additional EBT benefits each summer. Each student, grades K-12, that has qualified for Free/Reduced meals in the Edmonds School District is uploaded to the SUNBucks site in June and eligible families will begin to receive the SUNBucks Card beginning in July.
