District Equity Themes

What is a Monthly Equity Theme?

Equity monthly theme serves as broad guidance and support for the equity work in our district. The themes help highlight some of the many intersectionalities and priorities of equity work that are needed on an ongoing basis to help collaboration and growth in our system. The goal of the themes is to grow and co-create/co-design events that highlight the theme geared towards families, students, staff, and community.

Planning Committee overview:

During 2022-2023 school year we are planning one monthly celebration for each theme. To provide feedback or more information please email familyengagement@edmonds.wednet.edu.
