Latest Flag Lowering Notices

  • Wednesday, November 5 in memory of Former Vice President Richard Cheney. Flags will remain lowered until the date of his interment. 
  • Friday, October 17 in memory of four Washington-based soldiers: Chief Warrant Officer Three Andrew Cully, from Sparta, Missouri, Chief Warrant Officer Three Andrew Kraus, from Sanibel, Florida, Sergeant Donavon Scott, from Tacoma, Washington, and Sergeant Jadalyn Good, from Mount Vernon, Washington.
  • Wednesday, October 15 in memory of Eastern State Hospital Security Guard Colleen Bass.  
  • Thursday, September 11 - Sunday, September 14, for all victims of political violence. 
  • Thursday, September 11, for Patriot Day, the annual memorial to the victims of the 2001 tragedy.
  • Wednesday, August 27 - Sunday, August 31, for the victims who lost their lives on August 27 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 
  • Wednesday, August 20 in memory of Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Kenneth Salas
