College Place Campus Project Updates

The permit set for the College Place Elementary School and Middle School Replacement project was submitted prior to the new year. The constructibility and value engineering reports are nearing completion and will be submitted to the school board shortly for review and approval.

The project team is currently advancing to the next milestone: completion of the construction documents and bid set. Bidding is scheduled to take place over a two-day period in early April.

Construction is anticipated to begin this summer. During the two-year construction period, College Place Middle School will remain on site, while College Place Elementary School will temporarily relocate to Woodway Elementary School.

College Place Elementary and Middle School has reached 50% Construction Documentation and SEPA has been approved. The project is currently in the Project Design Review (PDR) process with the City of Lynnwood. The District has enjoyed partnering with the City through this process. The purpose for the PDR is to ensure high-quality development by complying with Lynnwood Citywide Design Guidelines and all relevant codes and ordinances, while coordinating with nearby private developments and public improvement projects in the area.
