High School Sports Update

Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA), Wesco League and our district continue to work together to plan for high school sports. While dates are still fluid at this time, we want to offer all district high school students opportunities for fitness and conditioning.

In preparation for upcoming seasons, we're excited to give high school students the opportunity to sign up for outdoor conditioning sessions at each of our four comprehensive high schools beginning the week of January 18. To be assigned a conditioning pod, students must complete an interest form (Athlete Conditioning Interest Form*). Those who sign up by 3:00pm this Wednesday, January 13 will be assigned a conditioning pod for the week of January 18. Those who sign-up after 3:00pm on January 13, but before 3:00pm on Wednesday, January 20 will be able to start the week of January 25. Students who sign up by 3:00pm on Wednesday, will begin receiving emails to complete the daily health attestation form. In addition to signing up, students are required to submit three electronic eligibility forms through Rank One Sport as well as an initial Covid-19 Waiver form, which is accessible through the download/print area of Rank One and the District Athletics webpage. This high school athletics slideshow will hopefully address some of your questions.

Due to the social distancing requirements for our outdoor conditioning sessions, all fields and courts at our four comprehensive high schools will be reserved for high school athletes and coaches only, Monday through Friday between the hours of 3:00pm-7:00pm beginning Tuesday, January 19.

*Due to security reasons, the Google Interest Form can only be completed from a District google account (aka student Chromebook or through a staff account).
