The Schack Art Center has announced the Scholastic Art Awards of 2018 and it includes nearly 30 Edmonds School District high school students. This program gives thousands of students throughout America the opportunity to broaden their creative horizons while earning local and national recognition.

 

The objective is to foster the confidence of young artists and give them the opportunity to be recognized for their creative achievements by the world at large.

 

The public is invited to view the Scholastic Art Portfolio Exhibit, Feb. 7 - March 4 in the Emerging Young Artists’ Gallery at the Schack Art Center, 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett.
