Are you interested in supporting students in their career development and expand career connected learning opportunities?

The Edmonds School District Career and Technical Education (CTE) department is looking for business partners to assist us in strengthening and growing student awareness to career pathways, and providing career exploration and meaningful connections between student interests and their future careers.

There are many ways you can connect passion to careers for our students:

Be a Career Speaker - In-person or virtually share your career path in classrooms, or during career events

Host a Worksite Tour - Host a class field trip to help connect classroom learning to the workplace and careers

Host a Job Shadow - Host a high school student to learn about career opportunities and workplace environment

Join a CTE Program Advisory Committee (PAC) - Serve as a PAC advisor with our teachers in one of our career pathways. Advisors are needed to:

  • Ensure students are learning the most current skills needed in the workplace
  • Provide guidance on career opportunities
  • Connect area employers and professionals who can help expand Career Connected Learning opportunities for our students

Host an Internship -  Internship Connect is our summer internship program that offers students paid/unpaid experiences, high school credit, and work experience.  A Worksite Learning Coordinator will work with hosts to assist them in designing a meaningful internship experience for students, while also addressing workplace values and needs.

  • Summer internships are 15 hours a week during the end of June - July
  • In-person, remote or hybrid

Participate in our Youth Employment Fair - May 16, 2023 2:30-4:30pm at Edmonds Woodway High School

Employers do you have? Part time or full time openings for students ages 14-18, summer, entry level and/or for new graduates, and/or apprenticeship programs. Sign up to join us: EMPLOYER SIGN UP FORM. Registration closes April 20th @ 5pm
