Hazelwood Students Make, Contribute Cranes for Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony

Hazelwood Elementary students led a schoolwide activity, creating 1,000 paper cranes in honor of ICAN (International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons) receiving its Nobel Peace Prize. Two photos were sent to the ICAN leader, who compiled photos from all over the world – the images were shown during the award ceremony as part of the ICAN’s presentation.
