Early Learning Programs

Special Education preschool-age programs provide children with disabilities, ages three to five, with early intervention services at the Alderwood Early Childhood Center as well as in the Edmonds Community College Cooperative Preschool, Head Start, and Parks & Recreation Preschool sites. Program and service options are dependent on each student's individual needs, as identified in the evaluation and Individual Education Program (IEP). Options include, but are not limited to, specially designed instruction in the areas of cognitive, social/emotional, speech/language, motor and/or adaptive skills.
