Maintenance Overview

The Maintenance Department is made up of 30 journey level technicians. Within this staff, 12 are assigned to the mechanical division, 11 are assigned to the structural division and 7 are assigned to the grounds division. We maintain 38 sites equating to 2,868,223 square feet.

  • The mechanical division maintains all heating and ventilation systems, all kitchen equipment and appliances, and all plumbing duties throughout the district.
  • The structural division maintains anything to do with the structural integrity of the buildings, including all door and lock repair, painting, roofing and window repair. They also field special cabinet requests and minor remodel requests. 
  • The grounds division is responsible for the upkeep of 638.05 acres, 300 acres of which are lawns and fields. They also maintain 55 elementary playground play structures, 33 sports fields at the secondary level, and 70 irrigation systems. They maintain the integrated pest management plan established by the district. 

The Conservation and Recycling Program is also part of our district's Maintenance Department.

Our Maintenance Department responds to work requests prioritized based on the following criteria:

  3. Sanitation
