Second Annual LGBTQ+ Community Event on March 13

Edmonds School District, with funding from Verdant and collaboration with many local agencies, is excited to announce our second annual LGBTQ+ Community Event. This community event is to support learning and provide resources to our LGBTQ+ students, families, and community. We work to continue to foster a community of allies in our district. This year’s theme is Love and Loving Thyself.

When: March 13, 3-8 p.m.

Where: Meadowdale Middle School, 6500 168th St SW, Lynnwood, WA 98037

Registration: Register here. Families that need interpretation must register in advance: We need 3 days to schedule interpreters for events.

What you will gain from this event:

Learn how to create and support a safe place for LGBTQ+ students, families, and communities

Learn about gender diversity

Listen to stories of families and students

Learn about advocacy and being an ally

Childcare and dinner will be provided. Children 3+ who are toilet trained
