Celebrating National Career and Technical Education Month

Posted on 02/20/2019

Please join us in recognizing and celebrating our Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers and programs as part of National Career and Technical Education Month in February.

Career and Technical Education courses are offered at our middle and high schools and provide a variety of opportunities for students to explore their career interests while developing important academic, technical, leadership, and practical skills necessary for success in college, career and life. CTE courses allow students to engage in real-world projects, compete in technical and leadership skill challenge events, participate in work-based learning experiences, earn college credit and industry certification, access employment opportunities, and obtain valuable preparation for a variety of high demand fields. Many of these courses also provide equivalency credit for other academic areas including Art, Math, Science, PE, and Health.

Edmonds CTE is committed to providing the highest quality programs which support our regional employment needs, align with required CTE program standards, and produce graduates who are both college and career ready.

We encourage you to visit the Career and Technical Education website for more information about our courses, resources, and featured stories related to our CTE programs.
