Important Notes:

  • Due to limited space in all of our schools, families may not receive a response to their application request until September 1, 2025.
  • Applications received after the deadline will be denied.
  • Students must be enrolled at their assigned school while waiting for a school change decision (in-district only).
  • If approved, parents are responsible for transportation to and from the approved school.
  • This process does not apply to Madrona K-8, Maplewood Parent Cooperative K-8, Edmonds Heights K-12, Edmonds eLearning Academy, Scriber Lake High SchoolDual Language Program, or Highly Capable K-8. Please contact these schools or programs directly for their entry guidelines.

  • In-district students interested in the IB Program at Edmonds-Woodway High school can apply directly to the program - IB Application Process. Nonresident students wanting to attend Edmonds-Woodway High must apply through the School Change process by completing the application.
  • If you have moved, and your address assigns you to a different school than the one you are currently attending. Contact your current school to complete a P-135 Address Verification Form and turn in to the school with one piece of documentation of proof of your new address (examples of proof listed on form). The school will support you in next steps.
