Thank you voters! Replacement Educational Programs and Operations Levy - February 10, 2026 Election

 

Election Results

As of February 11 show the Replacement Educational Programs and Operations Levy passing with 62.90 percent voter approval.

Levy measures must be approved by 50 percent plus one additional vote.

15.5 percent of district revenue comes from the local levy

Replacing the expiring Educational Programs and Operations Levy would continue funding for staff, opportunities, services, and programs for students.

The levy represents 15% of the district’s total budget and provides ongoing funding for day-to-day operations to ensure every student has access to the support, opportunities and resources that help students grow and achieve.

The Levy replaces an expiring levy

The total estimated tax rate for Edmonds School District per $1,000 of assessed property value is listed in the chart below. The current rate is $2.66 per $1,000 of assessed property value. This chart includes total rates for existing bonds, capital levy and the proposed 2026 replacement Educational Programs and Operations Levy.
