Equity Monthly Theme title

Our May planning committee will be focused on highlighting the diversity, culture, history, and equity issues for our Asian, Pacific Islander, and Native Hawaiian students, families, staff, and community. 

Dates of planning committees: All meetings will be held via Zoom
  • Thursday, April 22nd, 6:30-8:00 PM
  • Monday, May 17th, 4:30-6:00 PM

Join us in watching Alternative Facts: The Lies of Executive Order 9066 is a one-hour documentary feature film about the false information and political influences which led to the World War II incarceration of Japanese Americans. Followed by a panel discussion on the current impacts and build awareness and learning of our Asian American, Pacific Islander American and Native Hawaiian communities. All are welcome to attend. Recommended for all ages - family discretion

Virtual Cultural Fair

Students/Families/Staff of Asian, Pacific Islander, and Native Hawaiian cultures are welcomed to share their a tradition, traditional clothing, performances, arts, and anything else that feels comfortable being shared in a digital platform. 

Sharing can be video, photo or any other digital format. 

All who participated will be invited to "share a meal" together virtually on Saturday, May 22nd from 12:00-1:00PM
