The Edmonds School District’s Early Childhood Education Program (ECEAP) is a state-funded FREE preschool program for qualifying 3 and 4-year old children and their families. Morning and afternoon half-day ECEAP classes are offered at Mountlake Terrace Elementary and Lynndale Elementary schools. Online option is also available.
ECEAP is a comprehensive program that focuses on the well-being of the whole child. A team of specialists collaborate with parents to provide:
Education
- Preschool experience focusing on the needs of the whole child
- Activities which build self-esteem, social, emotional, and physical skills
- Highlights the strengths and diversity of each individual child
- 10:1 child-teacher ratio
- Support for dual language learners
Health and Nutrition
- Medical, dental, vision and hearing screenings
- Nutritious family-style meals
- Health and nutrition education for children and families
Family Support
- Parenting classes
- Assistance to develop and meet family goals
- Resources and referrals to community agencies
- Connect with job training and employment programs
- Learn to advocate for your child's needs
Enrolling in ECEAP
