Family Pre-K Facilitators


Carol LyonsCarol Lyons grew up in southern California and went to college there before moving to the Pacific Northwest in 1990. She has taught kindergarten and deaf students of all ages in Edmonds School District and has been a PreK facilitator for five years. When she isn't working with children and their families, Carol enjoys reading, traveling, researching family genealogy, and taking Spanish and guitar lessons. Carol and her husband love taking road trips to California to visit their son and daughter there.

Pam GerkePam Gerke
has been teaching children for over thirty years as an arts educator, specializing in drama and music, and has published several books in this field. She received her B.A. English from the University of California, her teaching certificate from Pacific Oaks College, and her A.A. in Early Childhood Education from Everett Community College. She is also a choral conductor, composer and playwright and is currently producing her original musical about Florence Nightingale.

Molly PankowMolly Clarke joined Family Pre-K in 2018 and is excited to continue in this program. She has worked with preschoolers in Edmonds School District for the past 5 years. Her favorite parts of teaching preschool are: fostering kids' creativity through art projects, singing fun songs, and watching her students learn and grow. To her Spanish-speaking families, Molly says, "Yo sé un poco de español, ¡quiero aprender más!" In her free time Molly likes to read, knit, and spend time with her kids.
