Meet the Edmonds School Board
The Edmonds School District is divided into five director districts. The five elected directors are responsible for conducting the business of the district. The Board of Directors typically meet two Tuesdays of each month, except July and August, at 6:30 p.m. in the Board Room at the Educational Service Center, 20420 68th Ave. W., Lynnwood, WA 98036. Study sessions, at which no board matters are voted on, are held on an alternate Tuesday. The Board's yearly schedule is posted on their calendar.

Carin Chase

Term expires: December 2023
Carin Chase was elected to the Edmonds School Board in 2015, she is a Washington native and graduate of the UW. She is a small business owner and active community volunteer, her son attends high school in the Edmonds School District.

Gary Noble
Director District 3
Term expires: December 2023
Gary Noble, a retired engineer and project manager for Boeing, was elected to the Edmonds School Board in 2003. He and his wife have two children.

Deborah Kilgore
President
Director District 4
Dr. Deborah Kilgore was elected to the school board in 2017. She conducts research and writes about learning and development, and volunteers in the community. She and her husband Rick have 3 children in Edmonds Schools.

Ann McMurray
Director District 2
Term expires: December 2021
Ann McMurray was elected to the School Board in 2005. She is an administrator at a mental health and chemical dependency counseling agency. She and her husband have two children.

Nancy Katims

Director District 5
Term expires: December 2023
Nancy Katims, Ph.D., was elected to the school Board in 2019. She has served in various roles in public education for over 40 years, including in the Edmonds School District, and currently conducts part-time consulting for educational organizations. Nancy and her husband Michael have two children who graduated from the Edmonds School District.
