Blueprint 2025

Help Shape our Future
Weigh in on the Edmonds School District draft strategic plans

We need your help. The District is seeking a second round of feedback from students, families, and staff to help us determine which draft strategic direction plan best reflects our culture and identity. These drafts do not yet contain the performance measures and have not been “designed” for readability or style, but we are looking for your input to help us determine which draft we should move forward with and what if any adjustments need to be made.

In fall of 2018, Edmonds School District launched a process called Blueprint 2025 to create a strategic plan to guide and measure the District’s work. In the first phase, the consulting group Strategies 360 met with students, parents, staff and community members, seeking feedback on the goals, values and visions for the District.

Please take 10 minutes of your time to complete this feedback form. We hope you take a few moments to help the us chart our future.

The online survey closes May 12. Write in responses will be accepted through May 24. Please email any handwritten responses to LesleyR@strategies360.com.

It's an exciting time to be part of the Edmonds School District, as we launch a process to update our strategic direction work. We are spending the next several months asking our community how to best share our collective goals and how to measure our progress over the next several years.
This process, which we are calling Blueprint 2025, will help guide our district's work through 2025. While our previous Strategic Direction served us well, our District is growing and Graduate with a future graduatechanging. We want our goals to reflect our work together on behalf of our students and schools.

In mid-October we launched our steering committee meetings of volunteer parents, students and staff who are helping make sure we are engaging with our entire community. The steering committee will review plans, community meeting agendas and outreach to ensure the process is inclusive of the entire community.

We want to hear from all of you about your hopes and dreams and directions for our schools.

In our first phase, we are hosting meetings to gather input on perspectives, concerns, priorities and needs of various members of the community such as families, our educators and staff, business leaders, neighbors and community members. We will also conduct an online survey to gather more feedback and direction.

Finally, we will host a large community town hall meeting to help finalize our Blueprint 2025.

First day of schoolPlease check back here for key dates and times. We will update this webpage as we schedule our meetings.
If you have feedback about our strategic planning, send an email to: hansenc@edmonds.wednet.edu.
