Mathematics: Essential critical thinking skills
Math requires critical thinking and is a basic skill necessary for student success. In the Edmond School District, we are increasing our support for math learning by providing new instructional materials and by helping our teaching staff with more opportunities for professional development. While students are in the classrooms learning, district staff members and community groups are planning projects that will improve the quality of the learning environment and outdoor facilities for every student. With voter approval of the 2004 Capital Levy, the District was able to create a program that brings together hard-working community groups and neighborhood schools. read more
