High School WASL – August 2009

 

Optional retakes are available to students who were in grade 10 or above during the 2008-9 school year

High School WAAS-DAW – November 2-10, 2009

 

Washington Alternate Assessment System-Developmentally Appropriate WASL tests available to 11th and 12th grade Special Education students whose IEP designates this alternative as appropriate in meeting their graduation requirements.

 

High School Proficiency Exam (HSPE) Spring 2010

 

The HSPE is the replacement to the WASL.  Includes testing of all 10th graders, as well as testing of 11th and 12th graders who have not met standard in one or more areas.

Science

 

Grades 3-8 – Measurements of Student Progress (MSP) Spring 2010

 

The MSP replaces the grade 3-8 WASL.

Includes testing of all students in grades 3-8 in the following subjects:

Reading and Math

 

·        Grade 6

Reading and Math

·        Grade 4

Reading, Math, and Writing

 

·        Grade 7

Reading, Math, and Writing

·        Grade 5

Reading, Math, and Science

 

·        Grade 8

Reading, Math, and Science

 

The Spring 2010 test window for most students will be May 12- May 28 (specific test dates determined by each school independently).

 

Note: For the Spring 2010 MSP, some classrooms may be chosen to participate in an online version of the test.  If your child becomes a participant in online testing, their test window will be May 10 – June 4.
