Prevent Jams
To prevent jams:
- "Squoosh" the paper guides in the paper drawer
- Don’t peek at what is in the output tray – wait for the job to finish, then remove the paper from the tray
- Set the type of paper
- NO construction paper! Send job to Printshop or use Risograph instead
Button Tips
The buttons listed below can be interpreted as:
- Close = OK
- Back = Cancel
- End = Finish/OK
Job Reservation vs. Interrupt Copying
Use Job Reservation to scan the next job while the current job is in process.
- Queues the job until the job in process is completed
- To start a reserved job, while another job is in process, press the "Reserve Job" button on the display
- You will be prompted for the key code
Interrupt will halt the job in process.
- To interrupt, use the button on the copier located next to "Energy Saver"
- Same key code as the job in process will be used

- Combine various parameters into one copy job
- Button on copier
- Example 1 – one page is a 2-sided original, but the others are not
- Example 2 – a page in the middle needs to be enlarged
- Example 3 – a page in the middle needs to be on colored paper
