How To Download and Install Inspiration and Kidspiration at Home
Please follow the directions for Mac or Windows to install one copy of Inspiration or Kidspiration on a home computer.
Windows:
- Right-click the appropriate link below and choose Save Target As
- When prompted, enter MISO\ followed by your district username and enter your password as shown:
User name: MISO\user name
Password: password
The Save As dialog box opens
- On the left side, click Desktop, and then click Save
- Close any open windows and double-click the Inspiration or Kidspiration icon on your desktop
Mac:
- Click the appropriate link below
When prompted, enter MISO\ followed by your district username and enter your password as shown:
User name: MISO\user name
Password: password
The Downloads windows opens
- When the Downloads window says "Completed," close the Downloads window
- On the Mac Desktop, double-click the Insp76Install or Kid2Install icon
Reminder of Teacher Take Home Privileges
The district purchased Inspiration and Kidspiration for teacher laptops using the Volume Licensing Program. This program allows Teacher Take Home Privileges:
Teacher Take Home Privileges: Complimentary with purchases of five licenses or more, these privileges allow teachers to install the software at home for lesson planning and preparation.
Please be sure to follow the following requirements in order to use the software legally:
- I currently meet the requirements to have an Edmonds School District technology levy-issued laptop (WEA member working .4 or more FTE for the Edmonds School District)
- My Edmonds School District technology levy-issued laptop has Inspiration and/or Kidspiration installed on it
- I will only download and install one copy on one home computer for my use for lesson planning and preparation
