Connect Gateways to Wireless Networks
Follow these directions to connect your levy Gateway to a wireless network.
Note: Your levy Gateway should automatically connect to the district network. Check step 1 below if you are having problems. But do not follow the rest of the steps. Call the Help Desk at 7333.
Connect to Wireless
To connect to a wireless network:
- If necessary, press Fn+F2 to turn wireless networking on.
- Click the Wireless Network Connection icon.

- In the Wireless Networking Connections window, double-click the network you want to connect to.
- Once it says Connected in the top right of the network you selected, you can close the Wireless Network Connection window.
- Hover your mouse over the Wireless Network Connection icon for information about the strength and speed of your connection.

When wireless networking is on, the wireless LED (located the farthest left under the touchpad) is lit. Fn+F2 toggles the light on and off.
It’s located in the bottom-right corner of the screen, looks like a computer monitor with parentheses to the right of it and has a red X if you are not connected to a wireless network.
The Wireless Networking Connections window opens.
