First Logon and Outlook Setup
When receiving a new computer or a re-imaged computer, follow these steps to log on and setup Outlook 2003. You will need to be connected to the district network to follow these directions. This will not work from home.

Logging On
Turn the computer on and follow these directions to log on the first time:
- At the Welcome to Windows screen, press the following keys at the same time: Ctrl+Alt+Del.
- Enter the following information:
- Click OK. Wait while the logon processes.
The Log On to Windows dialog box opens.

Note: If Log on to is not visible, click Options
Note: Subsequent logons will be faster.
Setting Up Outlook
To use Outlook instead of Internet Explorer to check email from your computer, follow these directions:
- Once logged on, the Start menu opens. In the Start menu, choose E-mail, Microsoft Office Outlook.
- On the initial screen, click Next.
- On the Account Configuration screen, select Yes and then click Next.
- On the Server Type screen, select Microsoft Exchange Server and then click Next.
- On the Exchange Server Settings screen, enter the following and click Check Name
- After clicking Check Name, the screen should display and underline your name.
- Once your name is underlined, click Next.
- On the Congratulations screen, click Finish.

The Outlook 2003 Startup wizard opens.




If instead, a list of names opens, choose your name from the list.
If instead, you receive an error message, closely check your spelling of blizzard.edmonds.wednet.edu in step 5.

Outlook displays the following while setting up your mailbox:

Outlook 2003 opens, displaying all the email currently in your Inbox.
