English Language Learners (ELL)

Students at the elementary level receive ELL services in their home school under the supervision of a certificated Teacher of Record. Services can include a pull-out model, where instruction is delivered in small groups or on an individual basis, or an in-class model, where instruction is provided within the context of the regular mainstream classroom. At the secondary level, students are served at one of four sites where intensive English language classes and ELL content classes are taught by certificated ELL teachers.
