If the answer is “YES,” please review the information below on how to register your student for the 2013-2014 school year:
Registration packets will be available on February 11 or after at our school. Office hours for registration are 9:00 to 1:30.
Please bring the following with you when you drop off your packet:
ü A copy of your child’s certified birth certificate issued by the state of your child’s birth**
ü Home address and phone number with proof of residency such as a utility bill, lease or mortgage agreements/receipts, or a copy of your homeowners or renters insurance policy
ü Emergency contact information completed in the packet including:
· Work phone numbers and addresses of parents / guardians
· Names, addresses and phone numbers for two additional emergency contacts
· Daycare information, if student attends daycare (please note that we cannot use a daycare address as the home address for the child)
· Name and phone number of child’s physician or clinic
ü Proof of immunizations to date
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please turn in your child’s paperwork even if you do not yet have a birth certificate or your child is not up to date on immunizations, noting that all immunizations and a copy of the birth certificate MUST be received before s/he may start school.
If there is enough interest and funding, we also offer a full time kindergarten program where students attend school for a full school day 5 days a week. This program is funded in part by parent paid tuition, which will be $3,680 in 2013-2014. There may be limited financial aid available to families who qualify at the free/reduced lunch income level. Please bring a recent paystub, proof of unemployment, etc., with you if you are considering applying for financial aid.
Full Time Kindergarten Lottery: In order to make the process for those interested in every day kindergarten equitable to all, our school will conduct a lottery if there are more students interested than space available by March 11. You may enter the lottery between February 11 and March 8. Parents will be notified via email and/or US mail with lottery results by March 15 after the lottery is drawn on March 11.
If you have additional questions, please contact the school office at 425-431-7374, or call Shelley Roehl at 425-431-7176. Shelley can also answer your questions about early entrance procedures if your child turns 5 between September 1 and December 31, 2013.
