Parents get 2012-13 School Year Under Way with Annual District Fair

The three-hour District F.A.C.E. (Families and Communities Engaged!) event this last Saturday, drew eager new kindergarten and soon-to-be middle and high school students’ families in steady droves to host school Meadowdale Middle. We thank all our parent and community volunteers, raffle and goodie bag donors, principals, and staff who made this year’s event such a successful morning of fun and learning!

The event has traditionally served as the kickoff to the kindergarten registration. Those families with a child who will be 5 years old by August 31, 2012 are eligible to enroll in kindergarten for the 2012-13 school year. Please spread the word to your friends, families and neighbors. Enrolling now is important, and helps determines whether a school can offer an every day kindergarten option based on the number of parent tuition-paid slots filled.
