Approved Boundary Change

During its Jan. 29 meeting, The Edmonds School District Board of Directors approved the boundary change in the northeast quadrant of the District.

During its Dec. 11 meeting, The Board of Directors completed the first reading for the proposed boundary change. The boundary modification proposal responded to on-going and increasing enrollment pressures in that area of the District. The approved change will grandfather in currently enrolled students at the schools affected in the boundary change, with the goal of it being gradual and minimally disruptive to currently enrolled families.

Additionally, middle and high school boundaries were not under consideration for change at this time. Dr. Ellen Kahan's Report to the School Board provides additional details.

Below you can find the approved boundary changes both in a packet and for individual schools.
