The Horticulture and Plant Studies program of study introduces students to the “growing” fields of Horticulture and Floriculture, and provides training in plant care and operation of a plant sale business.  In the Horticulture strand, students gain knowledge and skills in growing and maintaining plants; landscape design and installation; environmental science; and greenhouse/nursery plant production.  Students taking flower shop will learn to make professional flower arrangements, corsages, wreaths, bouquets, dish and basket gardens, and attractive store displays.
