Construction Carpentry and Construction

ConstructionIn partnership with the Lynnwood Rotary Foundation and Edmonds Community College, the Carpentry and Building Construction program of study prepares students for the growing and rewarding field of the building trades.   Through construction of a residential home from start to finish, students learn from experienced carpenters and specialists the skills and knowledge needed in all aspects of home construction.  This program is articulated for college credit with programs at Edmonds Community College.

* EWHS, LHS, MHS, and SLHS students take Carpentry as a 2-period block intradistrict course at Mountlake Terrace High School and later the construction site for part of the school day.  Bus transportation is provided.
