Architecture and Construction Drafting and Architectural Design

Drafting The Drafting and Architectural Design program of study prepares students for the exciting and growing fields of Architectural, Civil, and Structural drafting and engineering. Students work with industry tools and software to complete challenging projects that involve design, blueprint development, model-making, and presentations to industry professionals. Advanced students consistently place in regional, state, and international competitions, are selected for industry internships in architectural and engineering firms, and qualify for college scholarships.

* LHS, MTHS, and SLHS students take Drafting as a 2-period block intradistrict course at Edmonds Woodway HS for part of the day.  MHS students take Drafting 1 at their school and may then take additional 2-period block Drafting courses at Edmonds Woodway HS  for part of the school day.  Bus transportation is provided.
