Curriculum -- Elementary School |
Welcome to Elementary Curriculum
The
goal of the Edmonds School District is to prepare our students to be successful
and productive citizens in our rapidly changing 21st Century world.
To be successful, our students will need to be very good at communicating,
collaborating in teams, thinking critically, taking initiative, solving
problems, and creating new ideas and products in jobs that do not even exist
today. Our
website is designed to provide information to help you better understand the
work we are doing to guide and support all our students toward meeting this
goal. Our partnership with Edmonds parents is critical as part of this
work. If you have questions about any of the information included on the
website, please feel free to contact us using the contact information contained at the bottom of each page. At the left you will find links to different subject area pages; these pages include useful information about Edmonds School District curriculum and contact information for the specialist for each subject area. Additionally, Edmonds School District has developed brochures to help parents understand their child's progress reports. Each brochure also outlines what your child should know and be able to do by the end of each grade level. To view the brochures by grade level in English, Spanish, Russian, or Korean, click here.
