The Alderwood Early Childhood Center, a developmental preschool, serves 285 students. Developmental Preschool classrooms provide learning experiences for all ability levels. Classroom teams focus on social/emotional development, communication, problem solving, preacademic concepts and physical development. Educational therapy and consultative services are provided by Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists. Educational support is also offered to children with disabilities in community preschools and child care programs.
