Alderwood Middle, one of four middle schools in the Edmonds School District,
serves almost 800 students in grades 7 and 8.
Our Goals Include:
- Math — Align math curriculum with standards and plan for instruction so that all
students have access to essential skills and knowledge.
- Reading & Writing — Provide staff with specific training and review on writing
and reading strategies that can be used across subject areas.
Our Celebrations Include:
- Percentage of seventh-graders meeting standard on the 2007 Washington Assessment of Student Learning:
- Reading: 67.7%
- Math: 53.5%
- Writing: 66.9%
